This regex matches any line text followed by a parenthesized year ranging from 1910 to 1989, such as "Classic Film (1975)". The leading .* captures any preceding content before the literal (19[1-8]digit) pattern. With global and multiline flags, it finds all such year references across every line, making it ideal for filtering movie lists, media catalogs, or documents by pre-1990 release dates.
