Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches a full string of 1 to 15 characters containing only uppercase letters (A-Z), digits (0-9), and hyphens. This enforces the classic Windows/NetBIOS computer name limit of 15 characters, making it suitable for validating hostnames on Windows networks. Note that it only accepts uppercase letters, so lowercase input must be normalized first, and the global flag is mainly useful for repeated match operations.
