Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches a pair of decimal numbers separated by a semicolon with optional whitespace, such as '-122.4194; 37.7749', resembling a longitude;latitude coordinate pair in WGS84 format. Each number may have an optional leading minus sign and decimal point, though the permissive \.* also allows multiple dots (e.g. '1.2.3'). Useful for validating or extracting semicolon-delimited geographic coordinate strings from user input or data files. The gi flags enable global, case-insensitive matching across the input.
