Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Validates city name strings by requiring them to start with a letter (after optional leading whitespace), followed by an alphanumeric character, then allowing any mix of letters, numbers, spaces, apostrophes, hyphens, periods, equals signs, hash symbols, and forward slashes. The global, multiline, and case-insensitive flags enable processing multiple lines of input. Commonly used in address forms and location fields to accept names like 'St. Louis', 'Winston-Salem', or "O'Fallon" while rejecting invalid input.
