About this regex

Matches full URLs with optional protocols (http, https, ftp, ftps), relative paths (~/, /), or bare domains, including optional user:password credentials. Captures hostnames ending in common TLDs (com, org, net, gov, edu, co.uk, etc.) or 2-letter country codes, as well as valid IPv4 addresses (octets 0-255). Also handles optional ports, file paths, query strings with parameters, and fragment identifiers. Ideal for extracting or validating links in text using case-insensitive global matching.
