Regex Editor & Tester

This regex matches URLs whose path begins with an ASP/ASP.NET cookieless session ID embedded in the path, in the format (X(1)Y(...)), where X is an uppercase letter, a single digit follows in parentheses, and the last group holds 20-28 lowercase alphanumeric characters. Group 1 captures the full session ID block, while group 2 captures the remainder of the URL after an optional slash. It is useful for parsing, rewriting, or stripping session identifiers from cookieless ASP session URLs.
