Validates URLs with an http, https, or ftp scheme followed by a 'www' subdomain, a lowercase domain name (letters, digits, dots), and a 2-3 letter TLD like .com or .co. It only matches bare hostnames (e.g., http://www.example.com) with no paths, ports, or query strings. Quirks: the '+' after '://' allows multiple slashes, domains must be lowercase, and only a literal 'www' subdomain is accepted.
