Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Validates and parses URLs with an optional http/https scheme, a host that is either an IPv4 address (each octet constrained to 0-255) or a simple domain of one or two labels ending in a 2-3 character TLD, an optional port, and word-character path segments. It also matches a trailing slash, a file with a 3-4 character extension, or a query string of key=value pairs (including the special cases ?wsdl and ?wadl). Capture groups let you extract the protocol, host, port, path, filename, and individual query parameters, making it handy for URL validation and component parsing in JavaScript.
