Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Matches URLs using http, https, or ftp protocols, capturing the scheme, domain name (with 2-3 letter TLD), optional port, and path/query string components. Commonly used for extracting URLs from text, validating link formats in log analysis, or web scraping pipelines. Note that TLDs are limited to 2-3 letters (missing newer ones like .info or .museum) and the pattern contains an HTML-encoded ampersand (&) that should be decoded to & for matching query strings properly.
