Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches URLs starting with http://, https://, or www., followed by a domain (2-256 chars of letters, digits, and symbols), a dot, and a TLD of 2-6 letters/digits, plus an optional trailing path or query string. Used with global/multiline flags, it's ideal for extracting or validating web addresses in text. Note quirks: the + after the protocol group allows repeated prefixes, and the TLD class includes a literal caret character.
