Matches lines starting with an uppercase HTTP method (e.g., GET, POST) followed by whitespace and a URL path. It captures the directory portion (slash-delimited word segments ending in a slash) and the filename separately, stopping before query strings, fragments, or whitespace. Ideal for parsing web server access logs, HTTP request lines, or extracting path components from URIs.
