Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Matches integers written with comma thousands separators, e.g. 7, 350, 1,000, or 12,345,678. The trailing lookahead requires the number to end at a word boundary followed by whitespace or end of text, or immediately before punctuation such as a period, comma, exclamation, or question mark, which prevents matching partial numbers. Useful for extracting quantities, amounts, or statistics from prose, reports, and financial text in English number format.
