Test, validate and match regular expressions
Validates UK telephone numbers in multiple formats by accepting an optional international prefix (+44, 0044, or bare 44), a domestic trunk prefix (0), or no prefix at all. The number body must start with digit 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, or 9 (typical UK area code leading digits) followed by 8-9 additional digits. Useful for validating UK contact numbers in forms where users may enter various dialing conventions.
