Test, validate and match regular expressions
Captures a paragraph of text (lazily, with dotall enabled so it can span single line breaks) that ends before two or more consecutive newlines, with a lookahead requiring the next block to start with a digit, hyphen, dot, or word character. Used with global and multiline flags, it repeatedly extracts paragraph blocks separated by blank lines, making it ideal for splitting plain text into paragraphs that can be wrapped in HTML <p> tags. The lazy quantifier prevents greedy matching across multiple blank-line separators.
