Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Matches IPv4 addresses consisting of four decimal octets, each ranging from 0 to 255, separated by dots. Each octet is validated through three alternatives (0-199, 200-249, 250-255), and word boundaries prevent partial matches inside larger numbers or text. Commonly used to extract or validate IPv4 addresses in log files, network configurations, and user input, especially with global and multiline flags to find all occurrences.
