Regex Tester & Validator

Matches any sequence of characters (except newlines) zero or more times, capturing the result in group 1. With the global flag, it matches every line of text plus an empty match at each line's end, while the multiline flag makes ^ and $ anchors line-aware if added later. Commonly used for capturing whole lines, extracting line content, or as a base pattern for testing and debugging.
