Test, validate and match regular expressions
Validates a loose telephone number format by matching strings consisting only of digits, spaces, and plus signs. It's commonly used for flexible phone input validation where international formats like '+45 12 34 56 78' are allowed. Note that it is very permissive: it accepts empty strings or strings containing only spaces and plus signs, so it verifies character composition rather than a properly structured phone number.
