Matches network device log lines starting with 'VLAN' followed by 1-4 digits and the phrase ' is executing', then captures the remainder of the line up to its newline. Commonly seen in Cisco spanning-tree debug output (e.g., 'VLAN10 is executing the rstp compatible Spanning Tree protocol'). The multiline flag enables per-line matching across multi-line logs, while the global flag finds every occurrence. Useful for parsing switch debug logs or extracting spanning-tree protocol details per VLAN.
