Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches HTTP/HTTPS URLs with optional components: scheme (http:// or https://), user credentials (user:pass@), domain with TLD, port (2-5 digits), path segments, query string, and fragment. A negative lookahead rejects URLs containing consecutive dots ('..'). Despite the 'strict' title, parts like the `[a-z]{2,1000}` TLD and `.*` in the domain make it fairly permissive. Used with global/multiline flags for extracting URLs from text.
