Build, test, and debug regular expressions
This PCRE regex matches one or more hash (#) characters immediately followed by a single digit (0-9). It's useful for finding issue or ticket references like #1 or ##7, markdown-style numeric markers, or detecting string content that starts with hash symbols before a number. Note that \d matches only one digit, so just the first digit after the hashes is captured.
