Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches the start of a log line containing an optional date followed by a time. The date can be ISO format (YYYY-MM-DD) or numeric like DD/MM/YYYY, MM.DD.YYYY, or MM-DD-YYYY, with backreference 3 enforcing the same separator throughout. After the date (and a space or 'T'), it requires a time in H:MM:SS or HH:MM:SS form ending at a word boundary. Ideal for detecting or extracting log entry headers line-by-line when used with the multiline flag.
