Regex Tester & Validator

This regex captures an IPv4 address that immediately follows the literal text 'host=' in log data, storing it in a named capture group called 'destinationIP'. It is commonly used in Splunk searches and log analysis to extract destination IP addresses from network, firewall, or system logs. Note that it matches any digit sequences separated by dots and does not validate that octets fall within the 0-255 range.
