Matches template-style placeholders in the form ${...}, capturing the word or expression between the curly braces. The escaped dollar sign and braces are matched literally, while the negated character class [^}]+ grabs everything up to the closing brace. With the global flag, it extracts all variable names (e.g. user.name, PATH) from templated strings, making it useful for string interpolation, config parsing, and template engines.
