Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches a single letter enclosed in literal plus signs, such as +a+ or +B+. The 'i' flag makes the letter match case-insensitive, while 'g' finds all occurrences in the input string. Commonly used for simple token or placeholder syntax, emoticon-style symbols, or lightweight custom markup where single-letter tags are wrapped in plus signs.
