Validates SharePoint on-premises URLs beginning with http:// or https://, checking the server hostname (with optional hyphens and up to five dot-separated domain segments) followed by any number of path segments. Path portions exclude characters forbidden in SharePoint file and folder names such as #, *, :, <, >, \, ?, and |. Commonly used for form input validation when users must supply a valid SharePoint site or document library URL.
