Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches semantic git branch names that start with a type prefix (feature, chore, fix, security, or wip) followed by a slash, an uppercase Jira-style ticket ID like PROJ-123, and a trailing description of letters, digits, underscores, hyphens, or pipes. The gm flags allow it to validate every line in a multiline list of branch names. Typically used in git hooks, linters, or CI/CD pipelines to enforce branch naming conventions linked to issue tracker tickets.
