Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Matches runs of leading non-alphanumeric separators (whitespace, punctuation, &, /) or the start of the string, then captures the first word character that follows in group 2. Applied with the global flag, it steps through text and selects the initial letter of every word. Typical use cases include building acronyms or initialisms, e.g. deriving 'NASA' from 'National Aeronautics & Space Administration'.
