Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches SQL SELECT statements and captures their components into named groups: attr (the columns being selected), name (the table name), and optionally cnd (the WHERE clause condition). It is case-insensitive, supports multiline input, and tolerates an optional trailing semicolon. Commonly used for parsing or validating simple SQL queries, extracting query parts during log analysis, or building lightweight SQL interpreters. Note the WHERE clause capture only supports word characters, digits, spaces, and basic comparison operators (=, >, <, !).
