Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches strings beginning with 'P' followed by five zeros and exactly four digits, then a colon, capturing both the 4-digit number and the remaining text on the line. For example, it matches 'P000001234:Some entry', capturing '1234' and 'Some entry'. With global and multiline flags enabled, it finds all such entries across multiple lines, making it useful for parsing logs, records, or catalog files with zero-padded prefixed IDs.
