Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches one or more characters outside a whitelist of allowed characters: letters, digits, spaces, pipe, slash, brackets, braces, angle brackets, colon, question mark, underscore, backslash, and symbols like !#$%^&*(). Designed for use with regex.replace and an empty string to strip disallowed characters such as commas, quotes, semicolons, hyphens, equals, and plus signs—common culprits in CSV breakage and formula injection—when exporting data. The global flag removes every occurrence, and multiline mode processes each line of the input independently.
