Test, validate and match regular expressions
Extracts xs:string AttributeValue contents from a SAML assertion, but only within a saml:Attribute whose Name is 'example'. It anchors each match at the Attribute opening tag or the previous match end (\G), then either captures the value into the named group 'value', or skips over other paired/self-closing child tags so chained global matches can walk through the XML. Useful for parsing multi-valued attributes from SAML responses; possessive quantifiers avoid backtracking for performance.
