Parses full filepaths to RINEX 2 GNSS data files, capturing an optional directory structure (4-digit year, day-of-year, and 'data_NN' rate subdirectories) plus the standardized 9-character filename. Named groups extract the 4-character station name, day of year, session code, optional high-rate interval (00/15/30/45), 2-digit year, file type letter, and optional compression extension (Z, gz, zip, etc.). Commonly used in GPS/GNSS data pipelines to validate and extract metadata from observation, navigation, or meteorological files.
