Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Matches HTML attribute assignments with unquoted values, capturing the attribute name (letters/hyphens, e.g., class, data-id) in group 1 and the value (alphanumerics/hyphens) in group 2. Leading whitespace ensures it targets attributes inside tags rather than arbitrary text. Typically used with global replace to add quotes, e.g., class=foo → class="foo", repairing sloppy or malformed HTML markup.
