Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Validates a basic email address format consisting of a local part made of alphanumeric characters and dots, followed by an @ symbol, a domain with optional hyphens and an optional internal dot, and a top-level domain of 2-6 letters. Typically used for simple client-side form validation in JavaScript. Note that it is fairly restrictive and will reject some valid emails, such as those containing plus signs, underscores, or multiple subdomains.
