Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Validates an entire string containing only letters (A-Z, a-z), digits, whitespace characters, and hyphens. The ^ and $ anchors ensure no other characters are permitted anywhere in the input, and the + requires at least one character. Commonly used for input validation of fields like names, usernames, or codes where spaces and hyphens are allowed. Note that \s matches any whitespace including tabs and newlines, not just spaces.
