Matches emoji and symbol characters across a broad set of Unicode ranges, including dingbats (U+2700–27BF), miscellaneous symbols (U+2600–26FF), arrows (U+2190–21FF), keycap sequences, regional indicator pairs for country flags, and surrogate pairs for supplementary-plane emoji. Useful for detecting, extracting, or stripping emoji/symbols from user-generated text in JavaScript. The global flag allows finding all occurrences within a string.
