Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Matches dollar amounts in text where a number precedes the currency indicator, such as '10 dollars', '1,000 $', or '5.50 dollar'. It captures digits optionally separated by commas or periods, allows optional whitespace, and requires the amount to be bounded by spaces, punctuation, or line boundaries. Commonly used for extracting or validating prices in user input, invoices, or free-text documents. The multiline and global flags enable scanning every line for all occurrences.
