Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Matches a full line containing either a simple alphabetic name (e.g., 'John') or a hyphenated compound name (e.g., 'Marie-Claire', 'Jean-Pierre-Smith'). It allows only letters ([a-zA-Z]) with optional hyphen-separated letter segments, anchored to start and end of each line via the multiline flag. Useful for validating first names or surnames in forms, especially when supporting hyphenated names common in French and other languages.
