Matches text content between HTML/XML tags by lazily capturing everything after a closing bracket > and before an opening bracket <. With the global flag, it extracts all inner text segments from markup like <div>Hello</div>, returning 'Hello' in the capture group. The case-insensitive flag is redundant here, and without the dotAll flag it won't match across newlines, so it's best for simple, single-line HTML text extraction.
