Regex Tester & Validator

Matches content between paired double quotes or paired single quotes using lazy (non-greedy) matching, capturing the inner text in a group. The alternation handles both quote styles, making it useful for extracting string literals from source code, quoted values from config files or CSV data, and quoted phrases from text. Note that it does not handle escaped quotes (e.g. \" or \') inside strings.
