Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches one or more consecutive characters that are not lowercase letters a-z, including uppercase letters, digits, punctuation, symbols, and whitespace. With the global flag, it finds every such run throughout a string. Commonly used in Python for splitting text into lowercase words, stripping non-alphabetic characters, or cleaning and normalizing input.
