Regex Tester & Validator

Extracts Python dunder variable assignments such as version = "1.0.0" or author = 'Name' from source code. Captures both the variable name (version, author, email, etc.) and its string value, handling both single and double quoted strings. Commonly used in setup.py files or build tooling to read package metadata without importing the module. Global flag finds all assignments; multiline flag covers multi-line files.
