Regex Editor & Tester

This Go regex parses version strings into named capture groups: major, minor, and patch (dot-separated digits), followed by an optional dot with a numeric pre_release component, and a trailing build identifier of any non-whitespace characters. Used with global and multiline flags, it extracts every version occurrence line-by-line from command output or files. It's tailored for Phoenix Contact PLCnext firmware versions such as 2024.0.1.16283, where the trailing number denotes the build.
