Extracts a value from URL-encoded user-agent strings in web server logs. It locates a version fragment like /5.0+( (the + representing an encoded space) and lazily captures everything up to the first semicolon—typically platform or compatibility info such as Windows+NT+10.0 or compatible. The trailing .* discards the rest of the log line, leaving the desired substring in capture group 1.
