Matches project identifiers in two formats: either a two-letter prefix (PR, PV, or ME) followed by exactly six digits plus an optional decimal version suffix (e.g., PR123456.2), or a standalone seven-digit number. With global and multiline flags, it scans documents line by line to extract all project references at once. Useful in Python scripts for parsing logs, validating project codes, or harvesting identifiers from reports and data exports.
