Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches PHP-style code where a variable is assigned a double-quoted string (e.g., $var = "payload";) followed by a semicolon and another $-prefixed token ending in 'eval'. Commonly used in security scanning to flag suspicious webshell or backdoor code that obfuscates dynamic eval invocation. With the global flag it finds all such occurrences in a file or log.
