Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches simple route paths line-by-line: a leading slash optionally followed by an alphanumeric segment (letters/digits only, no underscores), which may end with a wildcard `*` or `/*`; also matches a bare `/` or `/*` wildcard. Commonly used to validate URL route patterns for web frameworks, API endpoints, or file-based routing conventions.
