Test, validate and match regular expressions
Validates a password string that is 8 to 16 characters long and must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit, and one special character from the set !@#$&*. It uses positive lookahead assertions to enforce each requirement independently of character order. Commonly used in user registration forms and authentication systems to enforce password complexity policies.
