Regex Tester & Validator

Parses OBIS (Object Identification System) codes from smart meter data, matching lines like '1-0:1.8.0*255(001234.5*kWh)' with named capture groups for each code segment (a through f), the measured value, and its unit. It captures optional medium/device/storage fields separated by '-', ':', '.', and '*' or '&'. Commonly used to read IEC 62056 or DSMR P1 telegrams from electricity, gas, and heat meters. Multiline anchors allow processing of multiple readings in a single pass.
