Parses multi-line log entries where each entry begins with an identifier (digits:4-digit number) followed by a timestamp in YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.mmm format and an alphabetic message. The lazy dotall match with a lookahead stops at the next entry starting with digits and a colon, or at end of input, allowing entries to span multiple lines. Useful for splitting logs into structured entries and extracting fields like ID, date components, time, milliseconds, and message body.
